Ford SYNC is a factory-installed, integrated in-vehicle communications and entertainment system that allows users to make hands-free telephone calls, control music and perform other functions with the use of voice commands. The system consists of applications and user interfaces developed by Ford and other third-party developers, and runs on the Windows Embedded Automotive operating system designed by Microsoft.
Work with numerous hardware and software groups to add features and remove bugs to the project. Contributed to and implemented design and functional specifications from customer. Converter existing AS2 code base to AS3 across the platform. Improved performance and data integrity of the system. Designed, implemented and tested new feature requests from the customer. Recommend and document architecture improvements to the platform.
